I have always been a fan of Kevin Costner. I fell in love with baseball because of him. I have never been to a baseball game but I have seen all of his movies on the subject.
And I love baseball.
Kevin has always come off to me as a gentle soul with a quite strength. For some reason I feel deep in my heart that he is an honest man, a fair man. He proved it to me yesterday at Whitney's funeral. It was so obvious that he truly cared about her truly loved her. He understood her. How hard it must have been for him to watch her fall.
How he must have wanted to catch her. To give her a soft place to fall. He's not the only one I am so sure. But I thank him for his kind words. (How eloquent he was. How gentle he was and funny too). As far as I am concerned Kevin Costner can do no wrong. I have every movie he as ever made. I can't wait for his next movie. I am so sure that he picked up a legion of fans in Whitney's church yesterday. Thank you Kevin and God Bless you and yours.
I wrote this three years ago and my feelings for this great man has not changed.
